Nili Hod was born in Afula, Israel.

She completed her studies in architecture and in town planning in the Architectural Faculty, of the Technion in Haifa.

Has been living in Ein Carem, Jerusalem, since 1972.

In 1978 was engaged in several major tasks in the Jerusalem municipality.
From 1994 to 2004 was in charge of the Municipality Conservation Committee.

Since 1993, in a memory of her son Tom Hod, has started to photograph and document buildings and landscapes, in Jerusalem –

A display of her art photography and mixed art techniques, takes place presently in Caprice, a Tourist Art Center in Talpiot, Jerusalem (143 Derech Beit Lehem St.)
